Tent Peak Climbing is the easier and popular trekking peak located at Annapurna region. Tharpu Chuli/Tent peak open for climbing under Nepal mountaineering Association. N.M.A declared the Mt.Tharpu Chuli peak in group B category climbing peak. Main attraction of Tharpu Chuli peak is panoramic views of Himalayan peaks like Annapurna I, Annapurna south, Annapurna III, Annapurna V, Gangapurna, Machhapuchhare and some other Himalayan range’s view.

We follow the usual route north-west ridge for tent peak summit. Because of North West ridge is easier then south-east ridge. Tharpu Chuli Peak is technically easy, but challenging peak. Tharpu chuli is situated in the heart of Annapurna base camp at an altitude of 5663m. Tharpu Chuli/ Tent peak is most climbed trekking peak of Annapura region. In the Tharpu Chuli Peak climbing goes along the Annapurna sanctuary trekking trail. We reach Tharpu chuli base camp after crossing a steep descent into the South Annapurna glacier. We set Tharpu chuli base camp at 4500m. High camp for tent peak established at (5,000m). Next Day the last bit pushed up to summit of Mt Tharpuchuli 5663m from High camp and back down to MBC.

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu airport (1345meters). Overnight at Hotel. B.B
Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour. Overnight at Hotel. B.B
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (200 Kilo meter west of Kathmandu)- 6 Hours. Overnight at Hotel. B.L.D
Day 04: Drive from Pokhara (915 m.) to Nayapul (1050m.) and Trek to Tikhedunga( 1577m)- 4 Hours. Overnight at Guesthouse. B.L.D
Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani( 2675m)- 6 Hours. Overnight at Guesthouse. B.L.D
Day 06: Hike to Poon Hill (3180m.) and trek to Tadapani (2675m.)- 6 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse. B.L.D
Day 07: Trek from Tadapani (2675m.) to Chomrong- 5 Hours. Overnight at Guesthouse. B.L.D
Day 08: Trek from Chhomrong to Dovan (2500.)- 5 Hours. Overnight at Guesthouse. B.L.D
Day 09: Trek from Dovan to Deurali (3230m.)- 4-5 Hours. Overnight at Guesthouse. B.L.D
Day 10: Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4170 m.) via Machhapuchhare Base Camp (3820m.)- 4 Hours. Overnight at Guesthouse. B.L.D
Day 11: Trek to Tent peak Base Camp (4400meters). Overnight at Tented Camp. B.L.D
Day 12: Trek to High Camp (approx 5000meters). Overnight at Tented Camp. B.L.D
Day 13: Spare day in case of bad weather. Overnight at Tented Camp or Guesthouse. B.L.D
Day 14: Summit (5850meters) and return to Annapurna Base Camp. Overnight at Guesthouse. B.L.D
Day 15: Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Dovan (2630m.)- 6 Hours. Overnight at Guesthouse. B.L.D
Day 16: Trekking from Dovan to Jhinudanda (1750m.)- 6 Hours. Overnight at Guesthouse. B.L.D
Day 17: Trek from Jhinudanda to Pothana (1600m.)- 6 Hours. Overnight at Guesthouse. B.L.D
Day 18: Trek from Pothana to Dhampus Phedi and drive to Pokhara- 3 Hours. Overnight at Hotel. B.B
Day 19: Drive from Pokhara to Kathamndu (6 Hours). Overnight at Hotel. B.B
Day 20: Transfer to international airport for your final flight departure. B.

  • Professional English speaking, an experienced, helpful and friendly Guide, porters (1 porter for 2 peoples). During the trekking route and 1 climbing guide for climbing period.
