Pisang Peak Climbing (6,092m/19,987ft) rising above Pisang village of Annapurna Conservation Area is one of the most popular trekking peak in northern Nepal. The climb for Pisang Peak starts from Besishahar. The trail will pass through the dense forest and local villages, towards the majestic peak of Mt. Manasalu and Lamjung Himal. A major intersection of the trail meets at Dharapani after passing through Larkya La Pass (5,140m/16,863ft).

The path ascends to Kharka (4380m/14,370ft), Pisang valley, where one sets up a base camp. After climbing to a shoulder on the South-West Ridge, one set up a high camp at 5,400m. Afterwards, the trail follows a demanding walk to the Pisang Peak. You can catch the panorama of Annapurna mountain range from a point during the climb (One may encounter snow at the high camp from the end of November to March). The well-defined ridge leads to the final steep snow slope. The descent is made along the same route.

Day 03: Drive to Beshishahar (830m/2,723ft), 6-7 hrs drive

Day 04: Trek to Bahundanda (1,310m/4,298ft), 5-6 hrs

Day 05: Trek to Chamje (1,410m/4,626ft), 5-6 hrs

Day 06: Trek to Dharapani (1,960m/6,430ft), 5-6 hrs

Day 07: Trek to Chame (2,710m/8,891ft), 6-7 hrs

Day 08: Trek to Lower Pisang (3,700m/12,139ft), 5-6 hrs

Day 09: Trek to Upper Pisang & preparation for climbing (3,810 m/12,497ft)

Day 10: Trek to Base Camp (4,380 m/14,36ft)

Day 11: Trek to Pisang Peak High Camp ( 5400m/17,712ft)

Day 12: High Camp - Pisang Peak Summit (6,092 m/19,982ft) & hike back to Upper Pisang

Day 13: Climbing Reserve Day

Day 14: Upper Pisang to Manang Valley (3,500m/11,482ft), 4-5 hrs

Day 15: Acclimatization day at Manang (3,500m/11,482ft)

Day 16: Trek to Yak Kharka (4,110m/13,484ft), 3-4 hours

Day 17: Trek to Throng Phedi (4,400m/14,432), 3-4 hrs

Day 18: Trek to Throng La (5,416m/17,765 ft) to Muktinath (3,800/12,467ft), 7-8 hrs

Day 19: Trek to Jomsom (2,570m/8,430ft), 5-6 hrs

Day 20: Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara, 25 minutes flight

Day 21: Pokhara- Kathmandu 7-8 hrs drive

Day 22: Departure from Kathmandu
