Kopra Ridge Trek
Duration: 14 Nights / 15 Days
Altitude: 4,450m

Kopra Ridge Trek is newly explored and new destination for trekkers in the Annapurna region. It is off the beaten trail. It is remote mountain ridges and exposit forest with fanastic views of the Annapurna and the gigantic mass of Mt. Dhaulagiri. Your experience will be different levels of scenery, from the lowlands to high alpine pastures; you visit numerous villages with ample opportunity to interact with the local people and traders; and from Kopra Ridge you enjoy some of the most dramatic views in the region. It's not an easy trek, however, and a good level of fitness is important to get the best from your adventure. Trekkers will have a marvelous alpine experience of sacred lake Khaire Lake at an elevation of 4572m.

This Kopra Ridge Trek is both remote and quite short, passing through isolated Gurung villages, beautiful forests and rarely-trekked high alpine pastures. Trekking through rhododendron forests, we aim for Kopra Ridge (3660m), a spectacular vantage point where we enjoy the stunning wild scenery beneath the towering peaks of Nilgiri, Annapurna South (7237m), Annapurna I (8091m) and the Dhaulagiri massif rising above the Kali Gandaki Valley. Our trip start from Nayapul- Birethanto and return route descends through alpine country, on a different trail, to Pokhara after we drive from Dhampus Phedi.
