Mount Himlung Himal is one of the recently opened peaks for climbing and is located between Manaslu and Annapurna ranges. This expedition takes you through remote villages Nepal and Tibet border. Passing through two interesting Tibetian villages of Nar and Phu. Base camp will be established at the height of 4900m. which is located at the upper border of one of pastures belong to Phu. Normally three high camps will be established to reach the Summit. Camp I at the height of 5450m, Camp II at 6000m and Camp III at 6350m.

The Himlung Expedition (7,126 m) lies northeast of the giant Annapurna range close to the Tibetan border, on the watershed of Nepal and Tibet. Remote villages, a fascinating culture and almost unknown mountains are the key characteristics of this region. It was approved for climbing in 1992, but the Himlung Himal is still not visited very often, even though the ascent route of this 7,000 m high mountain is technically easy and very interesting. The ascent of the Himlung Himal via the normal route poses no technical problems. The route leads through snow and ice without any rock climbing passages. Nevertheless, climbing Himlung Himal is a challenge: climbing long distances in high levels of altitude has to be mastered.
